Fahmida Riaz, one of Pakistan’s foremost literary figures, has published several volumes of poetry, fiction, and criticism, and has also translated Rumi and Forough Farrokhzad (from Persian) and Sheikh Ayaz and Shah Abdul Latif (from Sindhi) into Urdu.
